Carbon Steel Drums

Our carbon steel drums use Q195 or SPCC carbon steel as the base material. We do not use stainless steel. Our entire product line uses carbon steel. Q195 and SPCC have low carbon content. They have good plasticity. They do not crack easily during seaming. The drum openings have high strength after forming. You can choose wall thickness from 0.8 to 1.2 millimeters for our carbon steel drums. You select the thickness based on cargo weight and transport method. The outer surface has an anti-rust paint coating. The default is no inner coating.

Carbon steel drums work well with lubricants, base oils, and paints. These materials do not corrode carbon steel. If you need high-purity or food-grade packaging, we can add a food-grade inner coating. Our inner and outer coating processes are separate. We apply the inner coating after welding. We apply the outer coating after drum forming. Our automatic seam welders produce continuous welds. The weld is smooth, flat, and has no missed spots. Every drum goes through our leak tester after welding. Only drums that pass the test enter the painting stage. The double seam is complete with no cracks.
