Our heavy duty steel drum uses thicker materials than our standard drums. The body wall thickness is not less than 1.2 millimeters. The bottom wall thickness is not less than 1.3 millimeters. We use SPCC high-strength cold-rolled steel. This steel is stronger than regular carbon steel plates. We designed this heavy duty steel drum for customers who need the highest level of packaging protection. It suits dangerous goods transport, export shipping, heavy stacking, and other demanding applications. We produce this drum according to UN dangerous goods transport standards. The drop test height reaches 1.8 meters with no damage. This is higher than the 1.2-meter standard for regular open-top drums.

Our heavy duty steel drum passed the 3-meter stacking test for 24 hours with no deformation. It passed the 30kPa air tightness test. It passed the 250kPa hydraulic test. These results meet the highest level of UN dangerous goods packaging requirements. The drum body uses the double seam process. The seam area is thickened for extra strength. The weld is smooth with no air holes. The outer surface has an anti-rust paint coating. We test samples from each batch of heavy duty steel drums according to UN standards. We conduct drop tests and stacking tests to confirm performance. We can provide UN dangerous goods certificates upon request.
