50l Open-head Steel Drum

Our 50l open-head steel drum is the main product in our small drum series. This drum is widely used in fine chemicals, pharmaceutical raw materials, food additives, and paint additives. Compared to 220L large drums, this 50l open-head steel drum is much lighter. One or two workers can carry and pour it easily. Many customers choose this size for retail packaging. It is convenient for end users and easy to transport. This drum has a nominal capacity of 50 liters. The actual capacity is not less than 51 liters. We leave a safety margin. The outer diameter is 380 millimeters. The total height is 480 millimeters. The body wall thickness is 0.8 millimeters.

Our 50l open-head steel drum uses an open-top structure with a bolt ring closure. Filling and discharging are fast and easy. The EPDM gasket seals reliably. It suits various liquid and semi-fluid materials. The double seam process ensures strong drum openings. The outer surface has an anti-rust paint coating. This 50l open-head steel drum has no inner coating. We can add a food-grade inner coating upon request. Our two 50KG steel drum production lines produce both 25L and 50L sizes. We have dedicated stamping molds and seaming equipment for these sizes. Changing between sizes is fast and simple.
